Description
Bologna Montana Art Trail is a thematic trail of approximately 100 km, which crosses the territories of 5 municipalities: Loiano, Monghidoro, Monterenzio, Monzuno and San Benedetto Val di Sambro. What makes the Bologna Montana Art Trail special is that every year, permanent land art works will be installed along the itinerary, thus transforming it into an open-air art gallery. A unique and distinctive trail compared to all the paths present both in Italy and abroad. Creativity dialogues with the environment until it merges into a single itinerary where art and nature interact in a process of constant renewal and transformation. Our e-bike proposal includes some variations compared to the original route. This is a 3-day circular tour, which can be done starting from each of the 3 proposed stages. It is challenging due to differences in height, difficulty and requires good physical preparation.
We have divided the route into 3 stages:
1. Monghidoro – San Benedetto Val di Sambro
2. San Benedetto Va di Sambro – Loiano
3. Loiano – Monghidoro
Note: the route, distance and height difference may be subject to changes depending on the guide’s assessment of the weather conditions, the state of the terrain, the technical skills and physical condition of the participants, in order to always guarantee the enjoyment of the group in total safety.
